We often get the question “what is the accuracy of this rack and pinion drive?”.
Accuracy is often difficult to calculate for engineers. There are several reasons for this: for example because suppliers are unclear, whether they do not have the required information or do not want to provide it. If the accuracy of the drive is unclear, the engineer risks choosing too large or too accurate products. The result is a relatively heavy or expensive solution.
